Do or Done?

Introduction

The Spirit of religion is all about what you are supposed to do. Jesus died at the cross and said, “It is finished” (it is done). As Christians wWe may know this by heart buwfxftxrzt do we really believe it?

“There is a wide difference between your religion and mine,” said a Christian lady to one in whose spiritual condition she had long been interested. “Indeed,” said he, “how is that?” “Your religion,” she replied, “has only two letters in it, and mine has four.”

Winds of Change

Part 1 – The Wind of the Spirit

Acts 1:8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

Jesus didn’t say, “You will speak in tongues”. I know of many people that speak in tongues but there is no power of God in their lives.

Acts 1:8 talks about two things that you receive after Holy Ghost comes upon you
1. Power
2. A desire to witness about God

The Holy Spirit is the one who will teach you and guide you to tell others about who Jesus really is.

Third Heaven Encounter

Third Heaven Encounter

Where Is the “Third Heaven” and Who Went There?

I know a man in Christ who fourteen years ago—whether in the body I do not know, or out of the body I do not know, God knows—such a man was caught up to the third heaven. And I know how such a man—whether in the body or apart from the body I do not know, God knows—was caught up into Paradise and heard inexpressible words, which a man is not permitted to speak. (2 Corinthians 12:2–4)

Paul had received many visions in his life, six of which are recorded in Acts (9:3–12; 16:9–10; 18:9–10; 22:17–21; 23:11; 27:23–24). He had also received the gospel he preached by revelation (Gal. 1:11–12). But the vision he was about to describe was the most amazing and remarkable of them all. With characteristic humility, he related it in the third person, writing, I know a man in Christ. Obviously, Paul was that man, as verse 7 indicates.

Spiritual Portals

portal
noun por·tal \ˈpȯr-təl\

Simple Definition of portal
a large door or gate to a building (such as a church)
computers : a Web site that helps you find other sites
Source: Merriam-Webster’s Learner’s Dictionary

God delights in revealing Himself to those who love His appearing and to those who watch for His coming.
One of the marvellous mysteries of God is the existence of portals–doors and passageways–leading to and from the heavenly realms. When you are standing in a portal, it feels like an open Heaven.
– John Paul Jackson

A heavenly portal is a spherical opening of light that offers divine protection by which angels and heavenly beings can come and go, without demonic interference. God has designed portals to begin in the third Heaven, travel through the second Heaven, and open upon Earth.

Throughout Scripture, we see the existence of doorways or portals:
“Lift up your heads, O you gates! And be lifted up, you everlasting doors! And the King of glory shall come in”–Psalm 24:7.

“He commanded the clouds above and opened the doors of heaven”–Psalm 78:23.

“Blessed is the man who listens to me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at the posts of my doors”–Proverbs 8:34.

“Most assuredly, I say to you, hereafter you shall see heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of Man”–John 1:51.

The Door in Revelation

“After these things I looked, and behold, a door standing open in heaven. And the first voice which I heard was like a trumpet speaking with me, saying “Come up here, and I will show you things which must take place after this. Immediately, I was in the spirit”–Revelation 4:1-2a.

The “door” in Revelation suggests God’s invitation for us to have access to His heavenly realm. As His friends, the Lord wants to open the portals of Heaven and release an unparalleled visitation of heavenly hosts.

Exit Portals

- Moses wrote that "Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him" (Gen. 5:24). Paul records the same event by saying that he "was not found, because God had translated him" (Heb. 11:5). - 2 Kings 2:11 tells us, "Suddenly a chariot of fire and horses of fire appeared and separated the two of them, and Elijah went up to heaven in a whirlwind.” - Jesus was taken to Heaven. Mark 16:19 - After the Lord Jesus had spoken to them, he was taken up into heaven and he sat at the right hand of God.

ONE DROP OF HIS BLOOD

By Passion Centre,

ONE DROP OF HIS BLOOD

No gift God has given us is more important than the blood of Jesus Christ. Yet many Christians do not fully comprehend the power of the blood.

Without a doubt, the blood of Jesus Christ is the most precious gift our heavenly Father has given us!

Let me ask you a simple question, do you understand the importance of the blood of Jesus?

Scientists have a substance which has been said to be the most precious substance in the universe – antihydrogen. Contenders for the world’s most precious substance such as saffron, plutonium, gold, and diamond are like dirt in comparison to antihydrogen, as it has a price tag of more than $1,750 trillion Dollars per ounce.

Bigger isn’t always better

Bigger isn’t always better

Zechariah 4:10 (ESV)
For whoever has despised the day of small things shall rejoice, and shall see the plumb line in the hand of Zerubbabel.

Bigger things don’t always indicate God’s blessing or calling. I sometimes listen to people that want to encourage me and say things like. “God has a BIG plan for you” or “GREATER thinks are waiting ahead”. That is awesome, however I rather be walking in obedience to God rather than in greatness and I mean this sincerely.

Better to have little with fear for the Lord

Proverbs 15:16 (NLT)
Better to have little, with fear for the Lord, than to have great treasure and inner turmoil.

Experiencing the Passion and Power of Easter

Experiencing the Passion and Power of Easter

Easter is more than bunnies and coloured eggs. We have a tendency in our society to sugar coat everything and this cause us a reality distortion that can jeopardize our perception of the world around us.

Easter unlocks access to God

“And Jesus cried out again with a loud voice, and yielded up His spirit. Then, behold, the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom; and the earth quaked, and the rocks were split…” (Matthew 27:50-51)

And Jesus cried out with a loud voice, and breathed His last. Then the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom. So when the centurion, who stood opposite Him, saw that He cried out like this and breathed His last, he said, “Truly this Man was the Son of God”

Finding Your Strength in Difficult Seasons

Finding Your Strength in Difficult Seasons

“When everything seems to be going against you, remember that the airplane takes off against the wind, not with it.”
– Henry Ford

Your Struggles always lead to Strength

For when I am weak, then I am strong – 2 Corinthians 12:10

We live in a world that has an adverse environment but the way we live is by adapting and resisting circumstances around us.

God loves you but many times will allow difficult things to happen in your life in order to make you stronger. He is not playing with you. He is for you! As long as you live the way he intended for you He will always be with you, He will never leave you or forsake you.

The Power of Blessing

The Power of Blessing

Numbers 6:22-27
The Lord spoke to Moses, saying, “ Speak to Aaron and his sons, saying, Thus you shall bless the people of Israel:you shall say to them, The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face to shine upon you and be gracious to you; the Lord lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace. “So shall they put my name upon the people of Israel, and I will bless them

The last words of this confession are, “and I will bless them”

This is the will of God: TO BLESS YOU!
